For a year (2006) we had a DIY column where we designed projects from cast-offs found on the streets of nyc. We also contributed 2 years running to the Home Design Special Issue with our Tossed & Found projects (and snagged the cover with our painted Eames chair) all which ended up being auctioned off for charitiy at Housing Works Thrift Shops.
